Coyote vs. Acme (2026)
Plot Summary of Coyote vs. Acme
Premise
After decades of relentless pursuit, Wile E. Coyote hits rock bottom when yet another malfunctioning product from the ACME Corporation explodes in his face. Realizing that his constant failures are not due to his own incompetence but rather defective, dangerous engineering, Wile E. decides to take ACME Corporation to court.
The Unlikely Team
Wile E. hires Kevin Avery (Will Forte), a down-on-his-luck billboard personal injury attorney in Albuquerque who is struggling to keep his practice afloat.
The Battle Against ACME
Representing ACME Corporation is Buddy Crane (John Cena), a ruthless corporate lawyer and Kevin's former Harvard Law classmate.
However, as Kevin, Paige, and Wile E. dig deeper, they uncover a dark corporate conspiracy known as "Project Sisyphus"—a secret initiative where ACME deliberately uses cartoon characters as test subjects to iron out product flaws before launching harmless versions for human consumers.
Climax & Resolution
During the high-stakes congressional hearing, the Road Runner makes a surprising appearance as a key witness.
With evidence from former ACME test subjects and the Road Runner's testimony, Kevin successfully exposes ACME's corporate abuse. The verdict inspires dozens of other Looney Tunes characters to file lawsuits against the company.
The film ends on a warm note: having found justice and mutual respect, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner return to the desert to resume their iconic chase—this time purely for the fun of the game.
